The use of digital tools has revolutionized agriculture through offering more affordable, efficient and far-reaching coverage with delivery of extension services through the MWANGA platform (an ICT web-based tool for SMS messaging and e-Extension). This has improved decision making in farming: improved awareness and knowledge in agronomy, climate services, market information, post-harvest management and livestock forage management. It has led to scaling-out promising technologies in Tanzania and Ghana.
